Effect of alginate on the oocytes viability

Authors

Abstract

Alginate is gotten from brown seaweed. Has been used broadly applied for several biomedical uses. The structure of alginate is similar to extracellular conditions of living tissues lest wide use in cell transplantation can be make alginate hydrogels by many cross-linking procedures. On the other hand, alginate gel can injection into the body, which permits wide applications in the pharmaceutical field. This study aims to assess the influence of alginate on oocyte viability. Use the alginate in 1% concentration around the oocytes to evaluate viability.
