Abstract

Dapsone (Dap), Streptomycin (STR) and Ampicillin (AMP) are β-lactum antibiotic drugs. For the simultaneous assessment of Dapsone, Streptomycin, and Ampicillin in dose form, sensitive, accurate, and straightforward (UV-Vis) spectrophotometric procedures have been established. Using spectrophotometric methods, a simultaneous equation was used to determine the medications as a mixture, Maximum drug absorbance was reported to occur at (273.5 nm), (283.5 nm), and (257) for Dap, STR, and AMP, respectively, in a solvent mixture of water and methanol in a ratio of (80% - 20%).
