Abstract

High-anticancer anthracyclines, including doxorubicin, have a long history of usage as chemotherapy drugs. However, its potent cardiotoxic side effects include dilated cardiomyopathy and congestive cardiac failure, which are dose-dependent, restrict its therapeutic usefulness
